BioThere once was a painfully self-conscious journal here that, like most journals, spent far too much of its time absorbed with the minutae of pop-culture. And while most livejournals are filled with self-absorbed ramblings of emotionally brittle, compulsively needy, socially frustrated malcontents, this livejournal managed to be free from most of that. This journal was the entertaining ramblings of an emotionally distant, compulsively defensive, and socially frustrated malcontent. There's a big difference, and it has something to do with whining.
While this very journal managed to tear down barriers of social inequity, unite people across the world, and finally isolate the genes that caused cancer, the author got kinda bored with all that.
He ascended into the skies in a dazzling flash of light, rocketing towards the horizon, and everyone on livejournal wept. They were already weeping anyway, as most of them were busy writing angsty goth poetry and copying and pasting song lyrics as a calculus for their important inner-pain.
